Learn Wado-Ryu, the most effective style of karate from Jon Wicks 8th Dan - one of the highest graded instructors in the United Kingdom. Sensei Wicks has won all major Wado-Ryu titles including the World Championships, European Championships (four times winner) and Wado Cup. He has for many years trained directly under Master Tatsuo Suzuki 8th Dan Hanshi, who originally introduced the style of Wado-Ryu to England in 1965. Sensei Wicks is also the WIKF World Chief Instructor having been appointed to the role by Sensei Suzuki in Cyprus 2009.

The WIKF Summer Course has come round again and as usual, Su-H-Ri had a stong contingent. Read a full report of the course by Su-Ha-Ri's Andrew Hoare here

| WIKF 2010 British Championships |
The 2010 WIKF British Championships were held in Leicester on July 18th. If I was a betting man, then I would have lost a lot of money that day. The ones who would definitely win, lost and the ones that wouldn’t medal, medalled. As always it was a great event with competitors ranging from beginners to EKF squad members. Su-Ha-Ri sent up a 16 strong squad.

| The EKK Open Karate Championships |
The EKK’s was held in Tolworth on 23rd May 2010. It was an excellent day and as a bonus it was less than an hour’s drive, which is rare in the world of competitions. Hundreds of spectators had turned out, filling the venue to capacity. Unlike a lot of All Styles open comps, this one actually catered for beginners as well as the pro’s.
