Welcome
Learn Wado-Ryu, the most effective style of karate from Jon Wicks 8th Dan - one of the highest graded instructors in the United Kingdom. Sensei Wicks has won all major Wado-Ryu titles including the World Championships, European Championships (four times winner) and Wado Cup. He has for many years trained directly under Master Tatsuo Suzuki 8th Dan Hanshi, who originally introduced the style of Wado-Ryu to England in 1965. Sensei Wicks is also the WIKF World Chief Instructor having been appointed to the role by Sensei Suzuki in Cyprus 2009.

Su-Ha-Ri provides training for adults and children of all levels and abilities. Adult and teenager beginners may enrol on specialised courses designed to progress the student to the first grade. We specialise in classes for children which are equally popular with boys and girls. More

Norway Summer Course-Postcard from Bergen
General

This year I decided to try to attend a number of international Wado courses as part of a desire to expand my knowledge about the organisation and to train with some excellent senior Karateka from across Europe.  This included the UK Winter course with Suzuki Sensei, followed by Ireland with Mathieu Beysen Sensei, and the UK and Norway summer courses with Jon Wicks Sensei.

SUMMER COURSE 2011 Stratford - upon - Avon

Friday 22nd July 2011

It was an emotional start to the summer course weekend with SU-HA-RI members attending the funeral of our beloved Sensei Professor Tatsuo Suzuki, on Friday.  The service was held in Croydon and saw hundreds of Wado practitioners and WIKF members from all over the world attend to celebrate Sensei’s life and to pay their respects.
